Ben & Sarah’s beautiful wedding day was on one of the most perfect May days. The rain threatened but thankfully held off for most of the day! We had a back up plan on doing photos at a local greenhouse, H & J Florist & Greenhouse, and even though there was no rain we decided to go there for photos anywhere. I am so glad we did! It was such a gorgeous location for photos. Both inside the greenhouse and outside around it. Honestly, I wish the spring season was longer because I can’t get enough of the gorgeous blooming trees. They are so incredibly beautiful and it makes me so happy that we had a chance to do some photos by one.

What made this wedding day perfect though had nothing to do with weather or where we were. What made it special was the love between Ben & Sarah. The way they laughed together and the way they looked at each other its so apparent that they care about each other so much. What really struck me the most was the notebooks they shared with each other before they saw each other on their wedding day. With all the ideas floating around pinterest for your wedding day, there are often things that are done that don’t fully feel genuine. But with these letters they wrote to each other, it truly felt like the real deal. I talked with Sarah about the journals they had, and she told me that Ben would write her letters pretty regularly. That is just the most beautiful thing to me and something I hope I can start doing with my own husband. Its these little details that can really help make a beautiful marriage, not just a beautiful wedding.
